It's never a great idea to wash rain gear. The DWR coating will become less and less effective the more it gets washed. We always recommend wiping stains with a washcloth and treating things on an isolated basis rather than putting through a washing cycle.
Waterproof Ratings Explained
Not all waterproof products are created equal. While some may withstand drizzle and light showers, others are designed to withstand severe conditions for prolonged periods. We've broken down some of the most commons ratings below.
Up to 5,000mm
The bare minimum rating to be classified as waterproof. Suitable for light rain or drizzle for short periods.
10,000mm
Mid-level protection that will withstand rain and showers under light to medium pressure.
15,000mm
High level protection against prolonged, steady rain.
20,000mm and Above
Extreme protection against heavy rain, at high pressure, over prolonged periods.

30 Day Trial - Footwear
If you have put your new TRUEs to the test (worn condition) and determine they are not ideal within the first 30 days, simply reach out and we can arrange a return for refund or store credit.
A cleaning fee of $15 will be withheld from your refund so that we can recondition the pair and minimise waste.
You can utilise the 30 day trial once per calendar year. Applies to domestic orders only. Does not apply to Second Chance products (see below for details).

Second Chance models may contain new, slightly blemished, or gently used merchandise. All Second Chance models are FINAL SALE ONLY and not eligible for returns, exchanges, or any trial period.
Returns
Within Australia, new and unworn footwear, apparel and gear can be returned within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or a 1-time exchange.
We will provide a prepaid return shipping label for your original return. New Zealand orders may be returned within 30 days of delivery but the customer is responsible for return shipping.

80g PrimaLoft® Gold Active Insulation
The FS-Insulated Vest contains 80g of PrimaLoft® Gold Active Insulation, falling directly into the medium loft category which is industry standard for ski parkas and other snow-ready outerwear. Head to the course confidently knowing your core will stay warm on those colder days.
